DLF CEO Rajeev Talwar to retire

New Delhi: Rajeev Talwar, who has been a Whole Time Director of since February 14, 2014 and was elevated as CEO on August 28, 2015, has decided to retire, the company informed BSE on Friday.

“During his distinguished career with DLF, Talwar has been our representative in top industry associations to represent the real estate industry on key issues, with both the Union and State governments,” DLF said in the BSE filing.

Talwar’s decision to retire comes months after KP Singh, Chairman Emeritus of DLF Limited, stepped down from the helm of affairs at India’s largest realty developer.

“Talwar has also ably led our business in East and west and delivered some important projects for us in these geographies. He has been an integral part of the leadership team at DLF and played an important role in its growth journey over the years,” DLF said.

The Board of Directors at its meeting held on Friday considered and accepted the request for retirement from the office of CEO and Whole Time Director of the Company with effect from the close of business hours of 31st March 2021.
