JEE Advanced 2021 exam to be held on July 3
The Joint Admission Board had earlier decided to allow candidates who qualified for the IIT admission test last year but remain absent to appear for JEE Advanced 2021 directly, without having to take the JEE Main exam.
IIT JEE Advanced 2021 exam date is usually announced in September and the JEE Advanced administering institute conducts the IIT JEE Advanced exams in May. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic this year, the release of JEE Advanced exam date has been delayed like most of the exams. JEE Advanced exam organising body as IIT Delhi last year.
Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes across the country, however, JEE Advanced is conducted only for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology. To appear for JEE Advanced, candidates have to clear JEE Main.
